Tukwila Counterbalance Forklift Training - Demand is always high for our popular Counterbalance Forklift Truck Training courses. A Counterbalance forklift is a forklift together with a weight which counters the balance, allowing the weight of the load to be distributed equally across the forklift arms. Counterbalance forklifts are designed so the weight behind the center of gravity is counterbalanced by the weight on the lift. The load is projected out from the front of the equipment so it is visible to the operator of the forklift. This particular kind of forklift truck must just be used on stable, level ground or on a prepared surface.

Training is necessary for forklift operators to understand the correct way to distribute the load equally across the arms of the forklift. Trainees will be taught how to lower and raise the load vertically and how to tilt the forklift mast both forwards and backwards between 5 and 15 degrees. Trainees will know the RTITB standards needed for safely operating the forklift. Trainees will also become familiar with the kinds of attachments for the arms of the forklift.

The Walkie Stacker differs from the Walkie Pallet truck mainly when it comes to lift height. The Walkie Stacker can access tight places and has extra lift for high stacking capability. None of the Walkie line of lifts can be ridden. The operator has to walk behind them.
